How do I Position Myself for God's Blessings

Wickedness is real and oppression is real, but we have victory and will overcome the world even as we have faith.The word of faith will liberate you against the oppression of the devil. This liberation will make all your mockers agree that God has chosen to favour you, because whatever God has started He is able to perfect it.

Stand Still and Just believe
2 Chronicles 20:17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.

Every time God wants to move in our lives, He expects us to be already positioned. We only need to take the correct position. We need not to fight but to set ourselves and stand still. When we are set, we need not fear because fear makes us vulnerable to demonic attacks. We should set ourselves and engage faith in God to see the supernatural.

Poverty is blindness
Poverty is blindness and when you are poor you can't see. If you could see what God says you should do and where God says you should be, then you would walk in abundance and not in lack. Open your spiritual eyes and start seeing who you really are in God. when you do that you will start walking in the abundance of God.

Position Yourself to Jesus to reflect His light.
The moon has no light of its own, the sun generates the heat, but the moon positions itself correctly to the sun to be able to reflect the light as a glorious moonlight. As we know, moonlight is always associated with beauty. We should be correctly positioned to Jesus to receive His light and then we reflect it to the world.

Fear God to be wealthy

Psalms 112:1-2
1. Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Blessings begin with the fear of the Lord and delighting in God's law. Our children will also partake of those blessings and riches will abound. We need not run after riches ,but riches need run after us as we run after God, not caring about the riches.

Fear God to be Wise
Psalms 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

The bible says that in the last days people will move from place to place looking for wisdom. This quest for wisdom has not yet been satisfied up to now because it is only God who can fill that void in every human being. Those who fear God and delights (does) in his law shall be be wise, and have understanding. Daniel could understand all things than all the wise men in his times because he made God His teacher. God is the Scientist of scientists, Teacher of teachers, Lord of lords, Kings of kings etc

Fear God to be Preserved
Psalms 33:18-19
18. Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19. To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

Psalms 37:18-19
18. The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
19. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Fear of the Lord guarantees you access to supernatural supplies, because God's eye is on you. Fear of the Lord keeps you alive in famine by feeding you. God also ensure He gives you an everlasting inheritance

Exercise Godliness
1 Timothy 4:8
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

You have to discipline yourself in godliness. If you have any bad habits that you are unable to break from, you have to discipline yourself to not be a slave to those habits by consistent practice of doing good. Remember Habits are only acquired/formed when you do one thing repetitively. So, train up yourself in godliness.

Feed your soul in order to prosper health wise
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

The quality of your spirituality is what determines the dimension of the prosperity you can enjoy – to the level that your soul prospers. Your spiritual prosperity is what determines your material well being. It is about having an intimacy with God, coming in line with God. For you to maximize your blessings you need to be desperate of more of God, have a desire to constantly please Him

Acquaint yourself with God

Job 22:21-27
21. Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
22. Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
23. If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
24. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.
25. Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.
26. For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
27. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
28. Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Your harvest is determined by your correct position with God. Get intimate with God. Acquaintance means to walk with God and Receive His law; it means to be in touch with what He carries.If you return to God with a quest for Him, you will maximize your harvest. This out rightly means that carnality majorly disqualifies us for kingdom prosperity. when we put away iniquity from the tabernacle we shall lay up gold as dust.

Where your are standing is what determines what becomes of you.It is not just the law, but you as a person is what determines the effect of the law of God in your life. Your acquaintance with God determines your prosperity.Your spiritual stability has a lot to do with your destiny in God’s agenda of prosperity in your life. God's harvest will answer to you to the level of your spiritual prosperity.

God shall be your defence means He will bless you, protect you and secure you from any hurt. People may hate you but they can’t hurt you because the blessings of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow to it. The bible say that God saw that Leah was hated and so He opened her womb. There are people who are rich, but don’t fear the Lord and so their riches give them more sorrows than happiness.

God knows us better - how we behave when we have money
God will not bless any man above his spiritual capacity because He knows that if He does, He will loose the man since he won’t be able to handle it and he will go astray. God knows us more than anyone else in the world and how we behave when we are blessed.

Every time God wants to bless you with more, He will first want to see how you behave with the blessings He gave you last. If you know something bad will happen to your own son you would not let it happen. Therefore, if God knows that many blessings will hurt/spoil you, He will not give you. He will only give you what you can handle. Whatever will destroy your destiny, He will not let it happen. Be mature spiritually and God will also treat you the same by giving you more harder responsibilities. Remember also that to whom much is given, also much is required.

Let God be your reason for living
Harvest is not in response to your giving, but in response to your living. Your lifestyle determines your placement with God. You are the greatest enemy of your life. The more you open up to God the greater your destiny becomes.

You must make quality acquaintance with God, quality intimacy with God and make the fear of God the guiding principle of our life. It is spirituality that qualifies any Christian for supernatural prosperity.

Job said that even if God slays him, he will still praise Him, even when his wife was telling him to curse God – God is my reason for living if he takes my breath blessed be His name if I can praise while he kills me I will. No matter what happens to a man of God the end is always brighter than the beginning. God gave Job a double restoration for the shame he suffered. Whatever shame you have suffered in the past God will give you a double restoration

Practice a lifestyle where, whatever pleases God turns you on. When pleasing God becomes your way of life, then everything about God excites you.

Know God, but not about God(Exodus 33:11-14 )
True spirituality is not a function of prayer and fasting. True spirituality is a desperation of more knowledge of God but not knowledge about God. Too many know about God (they only hear about Him), but very little know of Him. The more of God you know the more spiritual you become.

2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

God is a Spirit and the more we discover of Him, the more of his nature we reflect.
Exodus 33:14  And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

If you don’t retain God in your knowledge you go carnal, doing things even not convenient for you to do, but you are doing them anyway. Knowledge of God is the answer to true spirituality. When you know Him you will be conformed to his image, as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Philippians 3:10
That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings

The more of God you know, the more like Him you become and the greater your access to all that He carries. Lay a sure foundation because if the foundation be faulty the righteous can do nothing.

Embrace the Word in order to embrace God Himself

1 Samuel 3:21
And the Lord appeared again in Shiloh: for the Lord revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the Lord. 

We discover God in His written Word. Let no day pass without a true and sincere fellowship with Him in His word because we find God in the Word by eating His Word from the Lord’s table. If you have one hour in prayers use thirty minutes for the the word.

They are many prayer giants who are not spiritual at all, for example the Pharisees who just pray carnal prayers. Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life. Jesus also said, sanctify them by thy word, thy word is the truth.

2 Peter 1:2-3
2. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

We invite His divine nature through the knowledge of Him, so that we can escape the corruption, the sufferings and the struggles that are in the world. The more of Him you know, the more His nature you invite and the more pleasures of heaven you will enjoy. When you acquit yourself with Him,

• His law becomes effectual in your life
• You lay up gold as dust
• The Almighty becomes your defence and riches are in your house
